BIFF 2007 Panel Discussion

Panel Discussion Sat. 12:15pm in the Gallery 104 auditorium.

Louisville Filmmaker, Dru Pfeiffer of CineVera Entertainment will be screening his documentary on the Civil War entitled "Southern By The Grace of God".  It is an experimental-documentary filmed in 16mm.  It is an early form of reality TV,as the approach is as if we went back in time (Matthew Brady-style) and captured the life-style of the 5th Kentucky CSA during the war between the states.  He will discuss the philosophy behind the aesthetic of the narrative structure of a documentary, as well as the ‘idea’ of ‘cinema verite’ as a language for film.

Any student that attends will receive an authorized slip for this, one hour, extra curricular film seminar.
